What are the types of gastric cancer? There are three types

Gastric cancer can be divided into early gastric cancer and advanced gastric cancer according to its general shape, tubular adenocarcinoma and papillary carcinoma according to its tissue structure, and can also be classified according to the site of onset.

1. According to gross morphology <br/> Gastric cancer types are mainly divided into early gastric cancer and advanced gastric cancer according to gross morphology. Early gastric cancer can be divided into depressed type and flat type according to the macroscopic morphology. Advanced gastric cancer can be divided into polyp type, infiltrative ulcer type or diffuse infiltrative type.
2. Histopathological classification <br/>If gastric cancer is classified into adenocarcinoma or carcinoid according to histopathological classification, gastric adenocarcinoma is more common in clinical practice. According to the classification of tissue results, it is divided into papillary carcinoma and tubular adenocarcinoma.
3. Classification by site of onset <br/>If classified by site of onset, it can be divided into gastric fundus and cardia cancer, gastric antrum cancer or gastric body cancer. The incidence rate is relatively high and the severity is high. It needs to be treated as soon as possible to avoid worsening of the disease.
