Is frequent belching a precursor to stomach cancer? Not necessarily

Frequent belching is not necessarily a precursor to gastric cancer. It can be divided into central belching or peripheral belching, and may be related to factors such as emotional excitement or cold stimulation.

The cause is complex and is not necessarily a precursor to gastric cancer. It may be caused by eating too fast, being stimulated by cold or being emotionally agitated. It usually stops within a few minutes. The early symptoms of gastric cancer are not obvious. When diagnosed, it is usually in the late stage. At the earliest, some people have symptoms such as abdominal discomfort, belching or acid reflux, and black stools.
If the symptoms recur, it may be an organic disease, which is currently divided into peripheral belching or central belching. Central belching is mainly caused by intracranial tumors, hydrocephalus, cerebrovascular disease or central nervous system infection. Peripheral belching is caused by vagus nerve stimulation, and the most common cause is gastroesophageal reflux disease.
