Detailed description of the hazards of hair dryers

The hair dryer is one of the most frequently used electrical appliances in our lives. It can be used to dry hair and help with styling. Do you know that using a hair dryer too much can also have disadvantages? Long-term use of a hair dryer can cause hair to become frizzy and split, as well as have other harmful effects. You may want to take a look.

We all know that the structure of hair is quite fragile. After washing your hair, let it dry naturally. Do not use a hair dryer to dry it, so as to avoid weakening the hair's elasticity and causing hair breakage. Many people are accustomed to using a hair dryer to dry their hair after washing it at home, but if used improperly, the moisture in the hair will be blown away. It is said that if the moisture content of hair drops below 10%, the hair will become rough and split, which is the result of frequent use of a hair dryer.

Many people believe that blow-drying hair will damage it, and hairstylists are very careful when blow-drying hair with a hair dryer after washing it, paying special attention to the method, angle and degree of blowing. Is it good to blow-dry your hair frequently? Blow-drying your hair is actually quite harmful to it. Every time you use a hair dryer to blow-dry your hair after washing it, the hot air from the hair dryer can easily damage the structure of wet hair. If you use a towel instead of blow-drying your hair, it will damage your hair even more because hair is most fragile when wet. You cannot rub it dry vigorously, nor can you shake your hair with a towel, otherwise it will break or become tangled.

The correct way is to wrap your hair with a highly absorbent towel to absorb the dripping water. When the hair stops dripping water, hold the hair dryer high and blow-dry your hair vertically with your hand over your head. As long as you keep the hair dryer moving and make sure to keep it more than 10 centimeters away from the hair, the hair dryer will not damage the hair. Just blow the hair until it is 70% to 80% dry. Every time you blow-dry your hair, it is best to keep the hair dryer 20-30 cm away from the hair. Keeping this safe distance between the hair dryer and the hair will naturally reduce damage.

Is it good to blow-dry your hair frequently? Wet hair is the most fragile, so it’s best not to touch it, let alone use a hair dryer! Otherwise, it won’t be long before your hair becomes severely dry, split ends appear, and it’s prone to breakage, making it frizzy and difficult to manage. The best way is to let it dry naturally.

Of course, if your hair already has the above problems, the first thing to do is to cut off the split ends, and then apply hair oil regularly, preferably once a month. Usually, you should use separate shampoo and conditioner products. Choose the brand that suits you. This is more conducive to hair maintenance. Also, don't use a plastic or nylon comb to comb your hair. A boxwood comb is the best, but a peach wood comb is also good.
