Can lymphoma be cured? Multiple factors determine it

With the continuous progress of society and the continuous adjustment of production structure and dietary structure, people pay more attention to their health. Lymphoma has always been a disease that has received more attention. So what is the cure rate? Can lymphoma be cured?

Can lymphoma be cured? The treatment decision for lymphoma is based on the pathological type, stage, and functional status of the patient. Hodgkin's lymphoma is mainly treated with a combination of chemotherapy and radiotherapy, and most early Hodgkin's lymphoma can be cured. Patients who cannot achieve complete remission after the first treatment with standard chemotherapy are also called refractory Hodgkin's lymphoma. This type of patient has the worst prognosis and can be treated with chemotherapy without cross-resistance combined with local radiotherapy. Those who have the conditions can consider intensive chemotherapy supported by autologous hematopoietic stem cell transplantation.

The most important treatment for non-Hodgkin's lymphoma is chemotherapy, especially for those with moderate to severe malignancy. Some patients cooperate with targeted therapy to achieve better results. Radiotherapy also has a certain role in the treatment of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, and surgical treatment is also a beneficial choice in the comprehensive treatment of certain lesions, such as the treatment of gastrointestinal lymphoma, especially when there is a risk of local perforation of the tumor. Lymphoblastic lymphoma is highly malignant and has a high mortality rate. It needs to be treated according to modern acute lymphoblastic leukemia treatment plans, and it may still be cured. Although Burkitt's lymphoma is highly malignant, it can be treated reasonably and many patients can still be cured.
