Why does my chin sweat so much?

Why does my chin sweat so much?

Sweating is both a physiological phenomenon and a pathological phenomenon. We know that people tend to sweat profusely when doing physical work, and also when it comes to the hot summer season, people will sweat a lot. In addition, generally speaking, people with weak constitutions tend to sweat easily, and obese people also sweat a lot. People sweat in different parts of their body. Some people sweat easily on their faces, some under their armpits, some on their necks, and some people always sweat on their chins.

1. Is sweating related to being fat or thin? How should it be solved or improved?

Traditional Chinese medicine emphasizes that physical weakness and easy sweating are the result of Qi deficiency that cannot retain body fluids, Yang deficiency that cannot consolidate the exterior, and heat accumulation and Yin deficiency. From the perspective of traditional Chinese medicine, sweating has basically nothing to do with being fat or thin. It is not recommended to take medicine. After all, all medicine is toxic. People like us who study traditional Chinese medicine don’t take medicine very often, let alone Western medicine. When we talk about health preservation, we mean preventing illness before it happens and preventing complications after it occurs. If you stick to diet therapy and some physical therapy for more than half a month, you can see significant improvement. For diet therapy, you can eat some rice porridge, carrots, tofu, potatoes, sweet potatoes, chicken, eggs, etc. Physical therapy is simple, just take medicine or soak your feet and hands in iodized salt and alum every day. If you must take medicine, I recommend using some medicine that strengthens the spleen and nourishes the stomach. I am taking Xiangsha Liujun Pills myself, and my night sweats have been significantly reduced in half a month. ——Some small suggestions from Xinglin students themselves. PS: After all, everyone's physique is different, and the effects of medicines may vary. The key is to pay attention to diet, sleep and exercise on a daily basis.

2. What should I do if I sweat easily?

People with qi deficiency love to sweat, not only when it is hot. Even in the autumn and winter, they will sweat after a little activity. They also always feel tired and easily catch colds. This is due to qi deficiency.

3. Daily diet for Qi deficiency

People with qi deficiency should pay attention to their daily diet and eat more foods that replenish qi and strengthen the spleen. For example, pumpkin, yam, lotus seeds, soybeans, coix seed, shiitake mushrooms, beef, glutinous rice, millet, longan, etc. have the effects of replenishing qi and strengthening the spleen and stomach. You can make tea with astragalus and wolfberry, which is very effective in replenishing qi and nourishing blood; longan and red date tea are also good teas for nourishing qi and blood. As the saying goes, "food is the first necessity of the people", the best way to replenish qi is through daily diet. Use 50 grams of yam, 150 grams of japonica rice, and 6 dates, add appropriate amount of water and cook porridge together. Drink it every night to replenish qi and strengthen the spleen and stomach. There is also a porridge suitable for drinking in the morning: boil 30 grams of astragalus in water, it is best to boil it twice, and combine the water from the two boils to cook millet porridge. Astragalus is a qi-replenishing agent, and millet also has the effect of replenishing qi. Drink it every morning, and generally sweating will be significantly reduced after a week. The dosage of Astragalus is generally between 25 and 50 grams. If you sweat less, 25 grams is enough. If you sweat more, you can increase it to 50 grams. It should be noted that while replenishing qi, you should eat less vegetables such as water spinach and white radish, as these vegetables have the effect of depleting qi.
