How to remove pomegranate stains

How to remove pomegranate stains

Pomegranate tastes sweet and sour, but sometimes if you are not careful when eating pomegranates, the pomegranate juice may stain your clothes. This substance is difficult to wash. When it just gets stained, it is best to rinse it with salt immediately. After a long time, it will be troublesome to wash. In addition to salt, you can also use sugar and vinegar, or baking soda for cleaning, which can achieve a good removal effect.

How to Remove Pomegranate Stains

Salt cleaning

If pomegranate juice has been on clothes for a short time, you can use some salt to gently rub the stained area to see if the stain can be removed. If the stain still remains, it is best to rub it with detergent or soap.

Vinegar cleaning

Vinegar has certain cleaning and sterilization abilities and can be used to wash clothes. If pomegranate juice has been on clothes for a long time, you can pour vinegar on the stained area, let it stand for a while, and then gently rub it to effectively remove the pomegranate juice from the clothes.

Egg yolk glycerin cleaning

If pomegranate juice gets on your clothes, you can try applying a mixture of one egg yolk and 50 grams of glycerin to the stained area, then let it sit for a while and then wash it off with warm water.

Baking Soda Cleaning

Baking soda has a certain alkalinity, while pomegranate juice contains certain acidic substances. Using baking soda to clean clothes is to use the principle of acid-base neutralization to remove stains. Generally, clothes are dipped in baking soda water and then scrubbed to clean.

Color bleach cleaning

Pomegranate juice usually leaves yellowish-brown stains on clothes, and color bleach has a certain bleaching effect. It can not only rinse the persimmon juice off the clothes, but also increase the color of the clothes. Generally, soak the clothes stained with pomegranate juice in warm water, then pour in an appropriate amount of bleach and laundry detergent, soak for about 10-20 minutes, and then gently scrub.

Bleach cleaning

If pomegranate juice splashes onto white clothes, you can directly rinse them with bleach. Prepare half a basin of water (about 2 liters), add a bottle cap of white clothing stain remover (600 grams per bottle), stir evenly, put in white clothes, soak for about half an hour, and then gently rub. If the stains are stubborn, you can extend the bleaching time, not more than 6 hours. In addition, if pomegranate juice splashes on white clothes, you can also soak them in milk and then wash them with soap or laundry detergent.
