Complete vegetarianism is not good for cancer patients. A combination of meat and vegetables is the right choice. Increase plant protein (beans are the richest), increase the proportion of white meat, and reduce red meat intake. In fact, every animal has red meat and white meat, but the proportions are different. In daily life, we can describe it in a popular way: four-legged animals are red meat, such as pigs, horses, cattle, and sheep; legless animals are white meat, such as fish; two-legged animals are red and white, such as chickens, ducks, and geese.

3. Seeking medical advice when you are desperate

Out of concern for themselves, cancer patients often seek out miracle doctors, medical advice, and nutritional guidance. However, the information they receive is often mixed, true and false, and often based on hearsay, changing orders from day to day, and believing in one thing and doubting another.

In fact, nutrition for cancer patients is a science with a rigorous scientific basis and strict operating procedures. It is recommended that cancer patients go to the hospital regularly, such as every 3 months, to receive dietary consultation, nutrition guidance, nutrition screening and nutrition assessment from nutrition experts.
