What are the dangers of not treating fibroids

Many patients who have suffered from fibroids know that although fibroids are not malignant tumors, they are very easy to recur. Once fibroids recur, not only will the patients feel very uncomfortable, but they will also have to undergo repeated treatments. So what are the dangers of not treating fibroids?

Fibroids are a relatively common benign tumor of well-differentiated fibrous connective tissue, more common in young people, solitary, mostly millimeters to several centimeters, painless, often discovered accidentally, hard, with clear boundaries, movable, slow growth, and can occur in subcutaneous tissues of all parts of the body. For example, tumors that grow in the breasts of young women and are mainly glandular are called fibroadenomas, and tumors that grow in muscles with muscle tissue are called fibromyomas. When they appear multiple times, they are called tumor-like lesions, such as congenital systemic fibromatosis. They are "benign" in morphology, and new lesions that appear in important organs can also lead to death. If they grow in the compressed parts of the sacrum, they will grow rapidly, erode, ulcerate, bleed and become malignant. Hard fiber diseases (ligament-like tumors) that grow in the rectus abdominis of the abdominal wall, neck, trunk, and limbs are more common in women. If they are not radically removed, they are very likely to recur, but they do not metastasize, so they are called borderline tumors. If not controlled in time, it may turn into multiple fibroids. Fibroids are often found under the skin, grow slowly, are generally small, have clear edges, smooth surfaces, and are hard and can be pushed. If mixed with other components, they become fibromyomas, fibroadenomas, fibrolipomas, etc. Fibroids, especially desmoids in the abdominal wall muscles, can become malignant and should be completely removed as soon as possible.

Patients with fibroids should also go to large hospitals for examination and treatment in time. Although this disease does not affect life, it does affect the patient's absorption of nutrients. Specialists can perform B-ultrasound examinations and make symptomatic treatments based on the size of the patient's fibroids and the patient's physical signs.

Patients must avoid excessive fatigue and combine work and rest. They can exercise more often to enhance their immunity, but exercise should not be excessive. They should drink plenty of water after exercise to replenish the water lost through sweating. Afterwards, they should have a good rest and keep a happy mood.

If you have fibroids, you must pay attention to your diet. You cannot eat spicy or irritating foods, nor can you drink alcohol, smoke or drink coffee, as these can cause great harm to your body. You can eat more light, nutritious foods, such as fruits and vegetables, especially during treatment.
