Should I pop the blisters on my feet?

If you feel that there are a lot of blisters on your feet, it is best not to pick them, otherwise it will leave large scars on your body. In the worst case, it will lead to bacterial infection, which will make the treatment very serious. In fact, the best way when blisters occur is to apply topical ointment in time, which will make the recovery faster.

General treatment and symptomatic treatment include respiratory tract isolation, bed rest, and intensive care to prevent herpes from ulcerating and infecting. If the rash has broken, apply gentian violet or neomycin ointment. Those with secondary infection should choose sensitive antibiotics as early as possible. Those with itching can be given calamine lotion and antihistamines. Complications of pneumonia and encephalitis should be treated as pneumonia and encephalitis. Hormones are generally contraindicated. When there are serious complications, they should be used as appropriate under the premise of using effective antibiotics. Those who have used hormones before the disease should reduce the dosage or stop using them as soon as possible.

When blisters appear on a child's skin, parents can generally do the following:

Don't think that the blister will be healed by puncturing it and letting the fluid inside flow out. On the contrary, you should try to keep the blisters intact, allow the liquid in the blisters to be absorbed by themselves, and allow the blister epidermis to dry, form scabs, and fall off on its own.

If the child's blisters are caused by tight shoes or the child is wearing new shoes and the blisters are rubbed by the edges of the shoes, you should help the child protect the blisters with gauze pads on the affected area and let the child change into appropriate shoes and socks.

If the blister is broken before the underlying skin has regenerated, the affected area should be cleaned, disinfected and bandaged with clean gauze immediately.

If the blisters are caused by burns or scalds, or if the blisters are large, you should take your child to the hospital and ask a doctor to treat it.

If the skin around the blisters becomes red and swollen or the blisters become pus-filled, it means that the skin at the blister site has been infected and the child should be taken to the hospital for treatment immediately.

1. Impetigo: It often occurs around the nose and lips or exposed parts of the limbs. It is considered as herpes, which then turns into pustules and then scabs. It does not appear in batches, is not seen in the mucous membranes, and has no systemic symptoms.

2. Papular urticaria: It is a spindle-shaped edematous red papule, the size of a peanut, with a needle-tip or millet-sized papulovesicle or blister in the center, which feels hard and very itchy. Distributed on the limbs or trunk, not involving the head or mouth, and no crusting.

3. Herpes zoster: The herpes is distributed along a certain nerve trunk pathway, is asymmetrical, does not exceed the midline of the trunk, and has significant local burning pain.

4. Smallpox: Severe chickenpox is similar to mild smallpox.

6. Other viral infections: Herpes simplex virus infection can also cause varicella-like skin lesions. This type of disseminated herpes simplex virus infection is often secondary to skin diseases such as atopic dermatitis or eczema, and the diagnosis depends on the results of virus isolation. In recent years, it has been found that enterovirus, especially Coxsackievirus group A, can cause widespread varicella-like rash, which usually occurs in late summer and early autumn when enterovirus is prevalent, and is often accompanied by lesions in the throat, palms, and soles of the feet. This helps to distinguish varicella from enterovirus infection.
