How to prepare rice noodles_rice noodles preparation ratio

Rice noodles are the best food for babies who are just starting to eat complementary foods. This kind of complementary food is very easy for babies to digest after ingesting it, and will not cause any impact on their underdeveloped gastrointestinal tract. However, parents still need to pay attention to the proportion needed each time they prepare the rice noodles. If the proportion is abnormal, it will lead to loss of nutrients in the rice noodles.

Rice noodle preparation ratio

There is no exact data on the ratio of rice flour to water. It depends entirely on the baby's age and adaptability. When your baby first starts to eat rice cereal, you can make it thinner, and then gradually make it thicker.

If the water temperature for making rice noodles is too high, the nutrients in the rice noodles will easily be lost; if the water temperature is too low, the rice noodles will not dissolve and will clump together, causing indigestion for babies. The more suitable water temperature is 70 to 80 degrees Celsius. The hot water from the water dispenser used in ordinary households should be enough to soak rice noodles. Please note that mothers do not need to cook the prepared rice noodles again, otherwise the water-soluble nutrients in the rice noodles will be easily destroyed.

You can put baby rice cereal before or after any feeding. In other words, you should pay attention to complementary foods from the beginning and add them at the same time as milk, and avoid adding them between two feedings.

Please note that baby rice cereal is not suitable for consumption together with milk powder. Ailele specially adds lactoferrin to improve the baby's resistance.

When we first added rice noodles, we let him eat less because some children are allergic to rice noodles, but they are very rare. If you feed your child less, you can avoid these problems. Start by adding about 5 grams, which is a small tablespoon. One spoonful is about 2.5 grams. One or two spoonfuls can be mixed into a paste and fed to your child. Before feeding, give him a small amount of paste to let him taste it.

The process of eating. In the early stage of adding complementary foods, the main purpose of adding complementary foods is not to supplement nutrition, but to let him learn to eat, let him learn to use his tongue and mouth to continuously squeeze, and use the movements of the tongue and mouth to chew and swallow food. This is the process of eating.

For some parents, it is even more inappropriate to add rice flour foods to their babies during the neonatal period. Pancreatic amylase does not reach adult levels until the baby is about 4 months old, so babies under 4 months old should not be fed rice flour products. After 4 months, it is appropriate to feed some rice flour foods, but rice flour cannot be used alone. Even if it is mixed with milk, milk should be the main food and rice flour as a supplement.
