Will testicular cancer recur after being cured?

Will testicular cancer recur after being cured? Testicular cancer may recur, which brings great difficulties to treatment. If testicular cancer is not properly cared for after being cured, it will cause repeated attacks of the disease. Therefore, patients should pay attention to this. The following care after testicular cancer treatment can help patients reduce the probability of recurrence.

Keep a regular work and rest schedule, and avoid working or contacting polluted air. In addition, stay away from radiation machines: for example, computers, induction cookers, microwave ovens, and mobile phones should be kept away from sleeping areas; stay away from noisy places. Keep a positive mood, and personality has a great impact on the testicles. Because the testicular area belongs to the endocrine system, personality can easily affect it. Clinical investigations have found that a large number of people with testicular hyperplasia or tumors have negative personalities, are not cheerful, and have long-term depression and repression. You should pay attention to venting your emotions reasonably in life, not being depressed, and being good at thinking about problems positively.

In terms of diet, foods grown or raised with hormones are the most dangerous. Foods such as grilled, fried, deep-fried, and overly greasy foods are also the root causes of testicular cancer; foods grown with pesticides and fertilizers should also be avoided. Overnight meals should not be eaten because they contain carcinogenic nitrites. Root and tuber foods should be eaten more: for example, sweet potatoes and taro grown underground, corn, chestnuts, etc.; meat should be mainly white meat, followed by red meat: for example, fish is white and pork is red.

The treatment of testicular tumors is divided into surgical treatment, radiotherapy and chemotherapy. The basic surgical method is orchiectomy and retroperitoneal lymph node dissection. Radiotherapy is extremely sensitive to seminoma, embryonal carcinoma and malignant teratoma are less sensitive to radiation, and choriocarcinoma is extremely insensitive to radiation. Testicular tumors respond well to chemotherapy. It is generally believed that chemotherapy has a better effect on seminoma, embryonal carcinoma and choriocarcinoma, especially when several drugs are used in combination, the effect is better. It is less effective for teratoma. Chemotherapy also has a certain effect on advanced or recurrent cases.

The above introduction has given us an understanding of the nursing measures related to testicular cancer. We hope that after understanding these nursing measures, once we suffer from testicular cancer in the future, we should not only take good drug treatment, but also pay attention to the above nursing care. We should strive to make every testicular cancer patient recover as soon as possible and get rid of the troubles of the disease.
