What is the cause of mature ovarian teratoma

What is the cause of mature ovarian teratoma

There is a disease that once it occurs, the patient will behave like a pregnant woman, with a gradually bulging abdomen, but with abdominal pain. Experts say that when this symptom really occurs in you, you should pay attention, because it is due to teratoma. So, do you know what causes ovarian mature teratoma?

Causes of mature ovarian teratoma:

1. Causes

The vast majority of mature teratomas (teratoma generally refers to solid mixed tumors that develop from the 3rd and 4th branchial sacs and branchial cleft tissues that fall off and remain in the chest cavity during the embryonic period) show a normal 46, XX karyotype. In very rare cases, the karyotype of the teratoma may be trisomic or triploid.

2. Pathogenesis

There are five possible mechanisms of occurrence:

1. Type I: The first meiotic division of the oocyte fails or the first polar body fusions with the oocyte.

Performance: The chromosome centromere markers of tumor tissue and host cells are heterozygous.

Chromosome terminal isozyme sites: Depends on whether and the frequency of exchange between the chromosome centromere and terminal markers during meiosis.

2. Type II: failure of the second meiotic division or fusion of the second polar body with the egg.

Performance: All teratoma chromosome centromere markers were homozygous.

Chromosome end markers: Depends on whether or not there is an exchange during meiosis.

3. Type III: The genes of mature oocytes replicate themselves in the nucleus, and the centromere markers and chromosome terminal markers are homozygous.

4. Type IV: The first and second meiotic divisions of the primordial germ cells fail. Meiosis does not occur, but mitosis occurs. The chromosome centromere and terminal markers are consistent with those of the host, showing heterozygosity.

5. Type V: caused by the fusion of two eggs, the centromere and terminal markers of the teratoma chromosome may be heterozygous or homozygous.

When we are diagnosed with teratoma, we should also face the disease calmly and have the courage to overcome it. The above is an introduction to the causes of mature ovarian teratoma. I hope it can bring you good help. Experts suggest that after suffering from this disease, you should not eat greasy food.
