Can floaters be cured?

Floaters cause distress to many people. In fact, floaters can be treated, but it should be noted that different pathological floaters may have different symptoms and treatments, so the treatments for different symptoms should also be particular. You should pay attention to protecting your eyes at ordinary times.

1. Treatment of pathological floaters

The symptoms of black spots flashing in front of the eyes and mosquitoes flying by are called floaters. Floaters are caused by opaque objects in the vitreous body being projected onto the retina.

1. Although the cause of physiological floaters is difficult to find, no medication is needed to treat physiological floaters. The cause may be due to excessive eye use and long-term psychological depression. Therefore, patients with physiological floaters only need to pay more attention to eye health, do more outdoor sports, and practice gymnastics to increase their immunity. You should pay attention to your diet and drink water that contains natural minerals. Rice should also be the staple food, and you should eat more green foods, and it is best to eat vegetables as cold dishes. Eat some refreshing fruits. Your eyes will return to normal after you relax.

2. The causes of pathological floaters are very complicated. It is caused by high myopia, internal bleeding of the eyeball caused by physical trauma, or inflammation.

2. Pathological floaters can indicate the following:

1. Retinal tears and retinal detachment: Due to posterior vitreous detachment and other reasons, tears may appear on the retina, and liquefied vitreous may penetrate into the tears. The initial symptom is a sharp increase in the number of "floaters" in front of the eyes. If left unchecked, it will lead to blindness.

2. Vitreous hemorrhage: Diabetes, high blood pressure and trauma can cause retinal hemorrhage. Once the blood enters the vitreous, you will suddenly feel the symptoms of floaters or the feeling as if a red curtain has been pulled open. Depending on the bleeding and location, it can cause varying degrees of vision loss. If the bleeding is minor, it can heal on its own.

3. Uveitis: Once bacteria or viruses enter the uvea, inflammation will occur in the eye due to an allergic reaction. At this time, white blood cells and exudates will enter the vitreous body through the blood vessels, causing symptoms of floaters. As inflammation worsens, the number of "floating objects" increases and vision deteriorates.

The above three types of floaters can be treated by taking Leding's lutein orally.
