Symptoms of lung cancer metastases to lymph nodes

What are the symptoms of lung cancer metastasis to the lymph nodes? If some lung cancer patients do not control the disease in a timely and effective manner in the early stages, the chance of metastasis and spread will be very high, with lymphatic metastasis being the most common. What are the symptoms of lung cancer metastasis to the lymph nodes? Let's take a look together.

Lung cancer is a malignant tumor that is extremely prone to metastasis and spread. Usually before lung cancer metastasizes, lymph nodes play a role in filtering, proliferation, and immunity in our body. There are no other symptoms such as pain. Normal superficial lymph nodes in the human body are very small, with a smooth and soft surface, no adhesion to the surrounding tissues, and no tenderness. When pathogens invade the subcutaneous tissue or mucous membrane, they can easily enter the capillary lymphatic vessels and flow back into the lymph nodes. When lymph flows slowly through the lymphatic sinuses, macrophages can clear foreign matter in them. Bacteria can basically be completely cleared, but the clearance rate for viruses and cancer cells is often very low. For example, lung cancer tumor cells cannot be cleared. Therefore, the clearance rate is often closely related to the nature, toxicity, quantity and immune status of the antigen.

After lung cancer metastasizes to the lymph nodes, many lung cancer patients will feel pain. This is because the infiltrating tumor cells pass through the lymphatic wall, fall off with the lymph fluid, and are carried to the lymph nodes in the confluence area, and the same tumor grows around it. At this time, the symptom of lung cancer patients is pain. However, in the early stage of lymph node metastasis, pain is not felt, but if you touch it with your hand, you will feel that the lymph nodes are hard, especially when you touch the lump in the neck above the right clavicle. This is because when lung cancer lymphatic metastasis occurs, it is caused by the transfer of lung cancer along the lymphatic vessels to the neck or clavicle.

When lung cancer metastasizes to the submandibular, armpit, groin, etc., lung cancer patients will experience swollen lymph nodes. When touched, they are often accompanied by pain. Therefore, when lung cancer metastasizes to lymph nodes, tumor cells will migrate along the lymphatic vessels and stay in the lymph nodes to divide and proliferate, causing the lymph nodes to swell and become painful. Especially in the late stage of lung cancer lymph node metastasis, the pain symptoms are more obvious.
