Feeding rats with concentrated crude nitrosamines extracted from rotten pickles can induce liver cancer.
Primary liver cancer may cause symptoms such as pain in the liver area, upper abdominal distension, decreased appetite, diarrhea, vomiting, hematemesis, bloody stools, weight loss, fatigue, general weakness, lower limb edema, fever, liver enlargement, jaundice, ascites, splenomegaly, etc., and in the late stage, it may become cachexia.
