Rubella is a common skin disease, but many people are still unfamiliar with it. After rubella appears, it usually causes direct harm to the patient, such as headache, fever, cough and other symptoms. If a child has such symptoms, parents should examine and diagnose him or her in time. There are many ways to treat rubella, such as traditional Chinese medicine treatment, folk remedies, etc. Clinical manifestations 1. Incubation period The child will have no discomfort during this period, and the duration varies, generally lasting 2-3 weeks. 2. Prodromal stage 1-2 days before the rash appears, the symptoms are mild or there are no obvious prodromal symptoms. There may be low or moderate fever, accompanied by mild upper respiratory tract inflammation such as headache, loss of appetite, fatigue, cough, sneezing, runny nose, sore throat and conjunctival congestion; occasionally vomiting, diarrhea, epistaxis, swollen gums, etc. Some patients may have rose-colored or hemorrhagic macules in the pharynx and soft palate. 3. Rash period The rash appears 1-2 days after the fever. It first appears on the face and neck, and spreads to the trunk and limbs within 24 hours, but there is no rash on the palms and soles. The rash is light red, fine-point macules, maculopapules, or papules, with a diameter of 2-3mm, and the skin between the rashes is normal. The rash on the face and distal limbs is sparse, and some of them merge to resemble measles. The rash on the trunk and back is dense and fused into patches, similar to the rash of scarlet fever. 1. Treatment with Chinese medicine When treating this disease, Chinese patent medicines such as Yinqiao Jiedu Pills and Isatis Root Granules can be used. If you want to take decoctions, you can divide them into two types for syndrome differentiation and treatment. The most common clinical type is the evil attacking the lung and the defensive system. The main symptoms are: fever, aversion to wind, runny nose accompanied by a mild cough, mental fatigue, poor appetite, and a light red rash that first appears on the head, face, trunk, and then on the limbs. It is evenly distributed, not dense, and small, disappearing in 2-3 days, with an itchy sensation. Accompanied by enlarged lymph nodes behind the ears and in the occipital region. The tongue is red with a thin white coating. 2. Treatment with empirical prescriptions 1. Take 10g of honeysuckle, 15g of forsythia, 6g of bamboo leaves, 6g of burdock seeds, 6g of platycodon, 3g of licorice, 5g of schizonepeta, 5g of mint and 6g of fermented black beans, decocted in water and taken orally, twice a day, 100ml each time. A small number of patients are of the type with raging evil toxins. The main symptoms are: high fever, thirst, irritability, dense rash spots, bright red or dark purple rash, severe skin itching, and yellow and red urine. The tongue is red with a thin yellow coating. An empirical method can be used. 2. Forsythia suspensa 15g, Coptis chinensis 3g, Plantago asiatica 10g, mulberry leaf 10g, chrysanthemum 10g, mint 6g, burdock seed 6g, cicada shell 3g, red peony root 6g, safflower 3g, reed root 10g, trichosanthes kirilowii 10g, decocted in water and taken twice a day, 100ml each time. |
