How does lymphoma endanger human health

Lymphoma is the malignant transformation of lymphocytes. According to the "World Health Organization's Pathological Classification of Lymphatic Tumors", there are nearly 70 known pathological types of lymphoma, which can be roughly divided into two categories: Hodgkin's lymphoma and non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. So how does lymphoma endanger human health? Let's introduce it below.

1. Diffuse large B-cell lymphoma is the most common non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, accounting for about half of all people. People of all ages suffer from this disease, but it is mainly middle-aged. Clinically, patients often show rapidly enlarged lymph nodes, 10% to 15% of patients have bone marrow invasion, and 40% to 50% of patients have extra-lymph node lesions. The impact of lymphoma is great, and the course of the disease progresses rapidly. If it is not treated in time, it will die within a year.
2. As for lymphoma metastasis, liver and spleen metastasis of malignant lymphoma can cause hepatosplenomegaly, gastrointestinal metastasis can cause abdominal pain, abdominal distension, intestinal obstruction and bleeding, the lungs and pleura are common metastasis sites of advanced malignant lymphoma, causing cough and pleural effusion, malignant lymphoma can metastasize to bones, such as bone pain, pathological fractures, etc., skin metastasis can cause skin itching and subcutaneous nodules, malignant lymphoma metastasis to tonsils and mouth, nose, and pharynx can cause dysphagia, nasal congestion, and nasal knots. In addition, nervous system metastasis of malignant lymphoma can cause spinal cord compression, cranial neuropathies, etc.
3. Symptoms of Late-stage Lymphoma The systemic symptoms of malignant lymphoma vary depending on the type of disease and at different stages. Some people do not have obvious symptoms. Symptoms of those with symptoms include fever, weight loss, and night sweats. Other symptoms include loss of appetite and fatigue.

Itching, etc. These symptoms are closely related to age, tumor range, body immunity, etc. Elderly patients, those with poor immune function or multiple lesions have more obvious systemic symptoms. Those without systemic symptoms have a survival rate three times greater than those with symptoms.
