My wife is pregnant during bladder cancer treatment. Can I keep the child?

Bladder cancer is a malignant overgrowth of cells in the bladder. The most common overgrowth is located in the bladder mucosa. So if your wife is pregnant during bladder cancer treatment, can she keep the child? Your husband has bladder cancer, which will not affect the child. As long as the child is healthy, you can keep the child.

1. Surgical treatment. Local tumor resection and electrocautery are usually performed through cystoscopy. This is a treatment method for bladder cancer, which is suitable for bladder papilloma with low malignancy and thin pedicles and tumors that only infiltrate the mucosa or submucosa.
2. Chemotherapy. Chemotherapy is mainly performed through intracavitary infusion chemotherapy and inferior epigastric artery catheterization chemotherapy. The drug solution acts directly on tumor cells, and the side effects are much milder than systemic medication. Patients in the middle and late stages may need systemic medication, which is also a treatment method for bladder cancer.
3. Radiotherapy. There are two types of radiotherapy for bladder cancer: external radiation and internal radiation. However, the effect of using radiation as a single treatment for bladder cancer is not ideal. It is currently mainly used for palliative treatment of patients with advanced tumors or adjuvant treatment of patients undergoing surgery or chemotherapy.
