In general, almost all women with endometrial cancer are still alive several years after diagnosis, and less than a third die from the cancer. A small number of women still have cancer but are still alive. If caught early, almost all women survive at least a few years, and most are cured. Treatment is more effective in younger women, those whose cancer has not spread outside the uterus, and those whose cancer is a slow-growing type.
