What to pay attention to for uterine cancer

Uterine cancer is one of the most common gynecological malignancies. Uterine cancer includes uterine body cancer (also known as endometrial cancer) and cervical cancer. Globally, more than 200,000 women die from cervical cancer each year. In developing countries, cervical cancer is a common and frequent gynecological tumor, ranking first. So what should we pay attention to when we have uterine cancer?

Vitamin malnutrition. The B-carotene level in the blood of patients with cervical cancer is lower than that of the control group. Low B-carotene intake is a risk factor for cervical cancer. In addition, vitamin C is also related to the incidence of cervical cancer, indicating that when vitamin C intake increases, the risk of cervical cancer decreases.
Trace elements have been found to be related to trace elements copper, zinc, and selenium. Significant differences were found in cervical cancer. Plasma copper in current and long-term relapsers was significantly higher than that in non-relapse survivors and normal people. The copper ratio was highest in long-term relapsers. The copper-zinc ratio in the current group was also significantly higher than that in the normal and non-relapse groups. Plasma copper and copper-zinc ratios can be used as indicators for the diagnosis and prognosis of cervical cancer and malignant tumors. Cervical cancer patients are related to high copper intake, which may be because copper has an antagonistic effect on selenium. Large doses of copper can produce selenium deficiency symptoms in animals.
We should pay attention to supplementing vitamins in our daily diet, and pay appropriate attention to supplementing foods containing zinc and selenium.
