Late symptoms of skin cancer patients

Skin cancer is one of the most common tumor diseases, which has always troubled the hearts of most patients. Skin cancer can be divided into basal cell carcinoma and squamous cell carcinoma. Late stage can bring great damage to the patient's skin. So, what are the late stage symptoms of skin cancer patients? The symptoms of late stage skin tumors are introduced as follows.

1. Basal cell tumors often have no obvious symptoms in the early stage. The late stage symptoms of skin tumors are mostly the appearance of hard plaque papules with a base, some of which are wart-like protrusions, and then break into ulcers, which are irregular, with raised edges, like craters, uneven bottoms, and slow growth. Very few patients have metastasis, and first a translucent nodular protrusion with a shallow ulcer appears, which then gradually expands and can erode surrounding tissues and organs, becoming an erosive ulcer.
2. Late-stage symptoms of skin tumors often grow rapidly in a short period of time. Squamous tumors are more likely to occur on the lower lip, tongue, nose, vulva, and at the junction of skin and mucous membranes. The ulcers have raised edges, are red and hard, and are ring-shaped and cauliflower-like in appearance. Basal cell tumors are more likely to occur on the eye sockets, inner canthus, nose, cheeks, forehead, and back of the hands. The ulcers have waxy, nodular, and rolled edges, and some are black. The inflammatory reaction is mild or absent, and metastasis is rare. They mainly infiltrate deep tissues.
3. Squamous cell tumors are often transformed from keratosis, leukoplakia and other preneoplastic diseases. They grow quickly and form ulcers in the early stage. Some are nodular or cauliflower-shaped, with less invasion into the deep part and a movable base; some are butterfly-shaped, with more obvious infiltration into the deep part, great destructiveness, and often involving bones. The late symptoms of skin tumors are often accompanied by purulent infection, accompanied by symptoms such as stench and pain.
