Is the cervical cancer virus contagious?

Cervical cancer has always been a very common and complicated disease for many women. Once a female friend gets cervical cancer, she will be very worried and afraid, fearing that cervical cancer will be transmitted to her relatives. We all know that there are many causes of cervical cancer. Is the cervical cancer virus contagious?

In fact, cervical cancer can really be "contagious" because the main cause of cervical cancer, HPV virus (human papillomavirus), can be transmitted through sexual intercourse.

Cervical cancer is not directly transmitted, but the HPV virus is transmitted. When a man is infected with HPV through sexual contact with a woman with cervical cancer, the man will not have symptoms, but he may develop male genital cancer and transmit the HPV virus to his next female partner. Therefore, we analyzed that it is very likely that the man was infected with HPV by his first wife, and then he transmitted it to his second wife, causing gene mutations and inducing cervical cancer.

HPV virus is contagious, how can people prevent it? First of all, you should keep yourself clean and avoid contact with multiple sexual partners; when resting in a hotel, pay attention to the hygiene of sanitary ware and bed sheets, and try to reduce the use of toilets and baths. Women should reduce smoking and drinking, because frequent exposure to tobacco and alcohol will accelerate vaginal lesions and increase the effectiveness of HPV virus.

At the same time, we remind women to enhance their awareness of reproductive health. Once the amount of vaginal discharge increases, especially milky white or yellowish vaginal discharge, accompanied by bleeding after sexual intercourse, they must go to the hospital for examination in time to strive for early prevention and complete cure of the disease. In addition, it is recommended that married women undergo cervical cancer screening once a year.

At present, cervical cancer is also contagious to a certain extent, especially this malignant tumor disease. If it persists for a long time, it will be seriously invaded by some viruses. For cervical cancer patients, it is actually contagious in many aspects, so we must do a good job of prevention.
