HPV is not a disease, but a virus called human papillomavirus. Cervical cancer is a disease and the most common gynecological malignancy. It mostly occurs in women aged 30 to 55, but in recent years, there is a trend of younger onset. The disease has no obvious symptoms and signs in the early stage, which is an important reason for people to miss the best treatment period. Many patients are not diagnosed with the disease until the obvious symptoms appear in the late stage. So is there a relationship between HPV and uterine cancer? Generally speaking, the most common types of HPV infection in the reproductive tract are types 6, 11, 16, and 18. Among them, HPV types 6 and 11 often infect the vulva, anus, vagina and other parts, and are low-risk types. They are more common in women with condyloma or low-grade cervical intraepithelial lesions, but have no obvious association with uterine cancer. |
