How long can a patient with axillary lymphoma live

Many people who have cancer feel that treatment is a painful process. However, treatment is always better than no treatment. So, how long can patients with axillary lymphoma live? What methods can be used to prolong life? Lymphoma is very harmful to people. If you have symptoms of lymphoma, you must go to the hospital for treatment in time. At present, there are two main methods for treating lymphoma:

1. Surgery is the most common treatment for lymphoma. In patients with intranodal lymphoma, surgery is mainly used for biopsy and pathology or for staging of partial abdominal exploration. For extranodal lymphoma originating in the brain, spinal cord, orbit, salivary gland, thyroid, lung, liver, spleen, etc., surgical resection is often performed first, followed by radiotherapy and/or chemotherapy. Lymphoma originating in the kidney, bladder, testicle, ovary, uterus, skin, breast, etc. should be surgically resected at an early stage, followed by chemotherapy or radiotherapy after surgery.

2. Radiotherapy. For non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, non-Hodgkin's lymphoma is more sensitive to radiotherapy, but the recurrence rate is high. For non-Hodgkin's lymphoma with primary lesions in the tonsils, nasopharynx, or histiocytes of the bone, local radiotherapy can achieve relatively satisfactory long-term relief. For Hodgkin's lymphoma, radiotherapy is more effective than lymphosarcoma and reticular cell sarcoma. During treatment, important organs are protected, skin reactions are mild, and bone marrow suppression may occur.

It is difficult to have a clear answer to the question of how long patients with axillary lymphoma can live. The treatment of lymphoma is a systematic process involving many factors. In general, how long a person with lymphoma can live, in other words, how long the patient's survival period is, mainly depends on whether the treatment method is appropriate and the patient's physical function. Active treatment and cooperating with doctors to formulate a course of treatment can prolong life. In addition, as a family member, it is best to learn more about lymphoma so that it can be discovered early and recovered early.
