Is gallbladder cancer contagious when it turns into liver cancer?

Gallbladder cancer is a common malignant tumor disease, which not only poses a great threat to the patient's life and health, but also causes a great psychological burden to the patient's family. I believe everyone is familiar with gallbladder cancer, so is gallbladder cancer in the late stage contagious? What are the complications of gallbladder cancer in the late stage?

Advanced gallbladder cancer is not contagious to other people for the following reasons:

So far, cancer is generally not contagious. To put it simply, contagion means that a disease is transmitted from one person to another through some means. Contagion must meet three conditions: source of infection, route of transmission and susceptible population, none of which can be missing. Clinical data have shown that cancer patients themselves are not sources of infection. Cancer is a mutation of one's own cells, but the immune system cannot recognize it, so it rarely heals itself. Once such cells enter the body of another person, they are immediately cleared and killed, and will not proliferate indefinitely. Moreover, cancer cells are generally difficult to get out of the body. Cancer is not contagious, but there may be a family history. Pay attention to chemical pollution in the living environment and bad eating habits.

Although gallbladder cancer is not contagious to other people, people with gallbladder cancer may develop other diseases related to gallbladder cancer:

Complications of gallbladder cancer patients include gallbladder infection, abscess, perforation, liver abscess, subphrenic abscess, pancreatitis, portal vein thrombosis, intestinal obstruction, gastrointestinal and intra-abdominal bleeding, etc., and fistulas may also form with the nearby gastrointestinal tract.

1. Most cases show gradual emaciation, weight loss, fatigue, and cachexia.

2. In some cases, metastatic lymph nodes can be felt above the clavicle, and metastatic masses may also appear in the breast and other places.

3. In advanced cases, there may be gastrointestinal bleeding, ascites and liver failure due to portal vein compression.

4. Abscess Common bile duct obstruction can cause multiple liver abscesses. It is common for abscesses to form in or around the gallbladder cavity where the tumor occurs.

No matter what stage the gallbladder cancer patient has reached, they should go to a regular hospital for treatment with a positive attitude, and not be discouraged or give up treatment.
