What are the hazards of nasopharyngeal cancer

Every disease has certain harms, and the diseases suffered by cancer patients are much more harmful than ordinary diseases. For example: nasopharyngeal cancer. Nasopharyngeal cancer patients often show nosebleeds in the early stage of the disease, and there is still a possibility of recovery if it is discovered in time. Once the disease develops to the middle stage, headaches will occur, causing great suffering to the patient. What are the harms of nasopharyngeal cancer?

1. Respiratory mucus is a typical health hazard that patients have to endure, and it is also a typical manifestation of the disease in the early stage. If it can be treated in time, the patient's recovery is very promising. The harm of nasopharyngeal cancer also includes blood in sputum after suctioning the nose or blood in mucus when blowing the nose. In the early stage, there is only a small amount of blood in the sputum or mucus, which sometimes appears and sometimes disappears. In the late stage, there is more bleeding, and there may be nosebleeds.

2. During the onset of the disease, patients with nasopharyngeal cancer will experience headaches, and this symptom will basically last throughout the entire course of the patient's illness. Headache is a common symptom of nasopharyngeal cancer, accounting for 68.6%. In the early stage, the location of the headache is not fixed and intermittent. In the later stage, the headache is continuous and difficult to relieve, causing the patient to suffer.

3. The onset of nasopharyngeal cancer can cause serious harm to the ear health of patients. Usually, patients with nasopharyngeal cancer experience tinnitus, hearing loss, and a feeling of blockage in the ear. When nasopharyngeal cancer occurs in the lateral wall of the nasopharynx, the lateral fossa or the upper lip of the Eustachian tube opening, the tumor compresses the Eustachian tube, which can cause unilateral tinnitus or hearing loss, and catarrhal otitis media. Unilateral tinnitus or hearing loss, and a feeling of blockage in the ear are all symptoms of nasopharyngeal cancer.

I believe everyone knows that if a disease is not cured in time, complications will occur. For example, patients with nasopharyngeal cancer often have symptoms such as respiration of blood in the nose, and more than 60% of people will have headaches in the middle stage of the disease. Once headaches occur, patients will suffer because headaches will last throughout the course of the disease. In severe cases, hearing loss and ear occlusion may occur.
