Is colon cancer metastasis to liver cancer contagious?

Is colon cancer metastasis to liver cancer contagious?

The fear of cancer often leads to some abnormal psychology. For example, some people think that colorectal cancer is a contagious disease. In fact, this is not the case. Colorectal cancer is not contagious, so there is no need to worry about daily contact with colorectal cancer patients. People need to know some common knowledge about colorectal cancer. So is rectal cancer contagious?

Regarding the question of whether colorectal cancer is contagious, there are generally four ways for cancer cells to metastasize normally, namely direct spread, lymphatic metastasis, blood metastasis and implantation metastasis. Even if implanted colorectal cancer cells metastasize, they still cannot survive in other people's bodies and will be killed by the strong immune rejection in the foreign body. People who lack relevant knowledge will think that colorectal cancer can be contagious, but this view is unscientific. After research and experimental observation by many scholars, it is believed that colorectal cancer cells are not contagious, that is, colorectal cancer is not contagious and is not an infectious disease. Since the diagnosis of cancer often depends on fiber colonoscopy and pathological biopsy, any form of census must take into account workload, economic costs and social tolerance. The same is true for humans. In cancer hospitals, no cancer patients living in the same ward have been found to infect each other.

Colon cancer is not contagious between humans, so people who have doubts about whether rectal cancer is contagious should rest assured. Doctors, nurses, and care workers who have close contact with patients in hospitals have never been reported to have been infected with cancer. In fact, a survey has been conducted: the incidence of cancer among medical staff and researchers engaged in tumor prevention and treatment is not higher than that of people in the same area. There are also couples who have lived together for a long time, and after one of them has cancer, they still spend every day together, and there is no phenomenon of infection between each other.

As for the inoculation of cancer cells, in the laboratory, the same animal cancer specimens can be obtained by inoculating the living cancer cells of the same animal into the same animal or athymic nude mice. Experiments have shown that colorectal cancer is not contagious. Currently, the treatments for colorectal cancer include surgery, radiotherapy and chemotherapy. However, after these treatments, what colorectal cancer patients fear most is metastasis and recurrence. Anti-recurrence drugs represented by Grifola frondosa D inhibitor have significant anti-cancer effects and help patients reduce the risk of metastasis and recurrence.
