Is lymphoma contagious during reproduction?

Many people know that lymphoma is also a malignant tumor, which is mainly manifested by painless lymphadenopathy, hepatosplenomegaly, and all tissues and organs of the body may be affected, accompanied by fever, night sweats, weight loss, itching and other systemic symptoms. It is also a relatively common tumor in my country and is very harmful to the human body. So is lymphoma contagious? How can we prevent it?

Is lymphoma contagious?

Lymphoma is not contagious. In simple terms, contagion means that a disease is transmitted from one person to another through some means. Contagion requires three conditions: a source of infection, a transmission route, and a susceptible population. Clinical data prove that cancer patients themselves are not a source of infection.

Experts have conducted experiments in which cancerous tissues taken from cancer patients were directly implanted in another person and could not survive and grow. Although it is currently believed that the occurrence of certain cancers is related to certain viruses, such as cervical cancer, nasopharyngeal cancer, and leukemia, it has not yet been confirmed that infection with certain viruses will definitely lead to certain cancers.

Cancer cells in the patient's body are a group of abnormal cells that have lost control and grow in an invasive manner. They not only destroy adjacent normal tissues, but can also spread to all parts of the body through lymphatics and blood circulation, absorb a large amount of nutrients, grow and proliferate rapidly, and cause systemic failure of the patient until death.

Although cancer cells can spread or metastasize everywhere in the patient's body, they will not be transmitted from one person to another like bacteria and viruses. To oneself, other people's cancer cells are a kind of foreign body, and the body will destroy the cancer cells through its powerful immune rejection ability. Therefore, other people's cancer cells cannot survive in one's body.

How to prevent lymphoma?

1. Adjust the diet structure and eat a balanced diet: Develop good eating habits in daily life and quit smoking and drinking.

2. Pay attention to dietary taboos: avoid eating spicy, sour, cold, hot, and other irritating foods, as well as expired and spoiled foods. 3. Strengthen physical exercise: pay attention to proper physical exercise to enhance immune resistance, speed up metabolism, excrete acidic substances in the body with sweat, and avoid the formation of an acidic constitution.

Through the above learning, I believe everyone can further understand lymphoma and how to prevent it, and actively cooperate with treatment according to the cause of the disease, then you will be able to recover early and restore health.
