Massage is a common treatment method in traditional Chinese medicine and a form of physical therapy. In our daily life, most common massages are used for rheumatic bone diseases. You may not be particularly familiar with head massage. Head massage can improve blood circulation in the brain, but the selection of acupoints on the head is relatively strict. Correct massage techniques can not only relieve fatigue, but also improve blood circulation in the brain.

Head massage can help invigorate the brain, soothe the mind, and improve hearing and eyesight. There are many acupoints on the head, and each acupoint has specific functions and effects. Understanding the location and functions of meridians and acupoints can better play the health-preserving and disease-eliminating role of head massage.

For head massage, we should not only find the acupoints correctly, but also have some understanding of the massage techniques. The most common massage techniques in clinical practice include rubbing, pushing, pressing, and tapping. According to the actual situation of different patients, we can make targeted choices. During massage, we must maintain appropriate strength, and the massage speed should not be too fast so as not to make the patient feel uncomfortable.
