Briefly describe which exercises can assist in the treatment of colorectal cancer

The best way to deal with cancer is prevention. It is necessary to do colorectal cancer screening once a year after the age of 30. Especially for three high-risk groups: obese people, people with a high-protein, high-calorie, low-fiber diet; people with a family history of colorectal cancer; people with a history of colon polyps and a family history. If there are changes in bowel habits and characteristics, such as constipation, diarrhea, blood in the stool (especially blood mixed with stool), foamy stool, etc., go to the hospital for examination in time. The examination methods include fecal occult blood test (low cost), rectal digital examination (convenient), and colonoscopy (can directly reach the lesion site and perform biopsy at the same time).

The incidence of colorectal cancer among white-collar workers has increased rapidly, which is largely related to long periods of sitting and lack of exercise. Lack of exercise and slow gastrointestinal motility increase the risk of intestinal cancer.

Regular exercise can significantly reduce the risk of colorectal cancer. Exercising for 30 minutes a day can reduce the number of intestinal polyps that are prone to cancer by one-third. Do at least 30 minutes of moderate-intensity exercise a day, such as brisk walking, until you feel a little out of breath.

Many colorectal cancer patients have an unreasonable diet structure, high in protein, high in calories, and low in fiber. Eating too fine food can easily cause constipation. The stool stays in the intestine for too long, and the toxins in it are more easily absorbed by the intestine, thus causing lesions. Therefore, to prevent colorectal cancer, you should reduce the intake of refined food and eat more crude fiber food. Insist on eating at least three high-fiber fruits and vegetables every day, such as celery, broccoli, leeks, mushrooms, sweet potatoes, corn, apples, etc.
