There are 2 causes of colorectal cancer

Intestinal cancer can be divided into malignant tumors in the duodenum, small intestine, colon and rectum. Colon cancer and rectal cancer are more common, small intestine cancer is rare, and the duodenum is the least likely to become cancerous.

There is no such disease name as intestinal cancer in TCM literature, but according to the clinical manifestations, it is similar to TCM "intestinal polyps", "lumps", "blockages", "hidden beams", "fat qi", etc. For example, in "Shui Zhang Chapter" of "Ling Shu", it says: "Cold qi invades the outside of the intestines and fights with the defensive qi. The qi cannot nourish, and because of something, it becomes attached and stays inside. Evil qi arises and polyps grow. At the beginning, they are as big as chicken eggs."

There are two causes of colorectal cancer: internal and external. External causes are caused by cold and dampness or dampness and heat. Internal causes are caused by emotional disturbances, which affect the function of the internal organs.

It is related to energy disorder, etc.

Improper diet and long-term sitting in wet areas will cause cold and dampness or damp heat to invade the body, stay there, turn into fire, generate poison, and cause malignant tumors.

It is caused by dysfunction of internal organs, or emotional imbalance, poor Qi movement, Qi stagnation and blood stasis, accumulation of phlegm and dampness, and endogenous dampness and heat, which all become a malignant tumor.

When the positive energy is insufficient, the toxic evil resides in it, accumulating in the large intestine and condensing into a mass. Heat damages the intestinal network, and damp heat is retained, obstructing blood circulation, which is the so-called intestinal toxicity and bleeding.
