Abdominal tightness

Abdominal tightness

There is a huge intestinal system and reproductive system below the human abdomen, so any problem with the abdomen should never be ignored. Since there are many types of diseases related to the intestinal system, the symptoms of these diseases on the human body are also different. Some people have abdominal pain, while others find that their abdomen is in a state of tightness for a long time. So what causes the tightness in the abdomen?

Dyspepsia is a clinical syndrome caused by gastric motility disorders, which also includes gastroparesis and esophageal reflux disease. Indigestion is mainly divided into functional dyspepsia and organic dyspepsia. Functional dyspepsia belongs to the categories of "abdominal distension", "stomach pain" and "noise" in traditional Chinese medicine. The disease is in the stomach and involves organs such as the liver and spleen. It should be treated based on syndrome differentiation and methods such as strengthening the spleen and stomach, soothing the liver and regulating qi, and digesting food and relieving stagnation.

Causes of indigestion

1. Psychological and mental stress

2. Bad eating habits, including stimulating foods (coffee, strong tea, sweets, greasy, raw and cold foods, etc.) and bad eating habits (including fasting, frequent consumption of stimulating foods, irregular eating or binge eating, etc.);

3. Influence of ambient temperature;

4. Helicobacter pylori infection is also one of the main causes of indigestion symptoms in some FD patients.

The dangers of indigestion

1. Diarrhea Indigestion disrupts the balance in the intestines and causes diarrhea. In fact, diarrhea is also a form of protection at this time, which excretes toxins from the body. However, taking antidiarrheal drugs too early is often not advisable and will cause obstruction.

2. Constipation: Eating too much food, spicy, fried, raw or cold... these foods piled together will cause constipation in children. Constipation in children will cause toxins to accumulate, thus endangering the health of children.

3. Abdominal pain. Too much food accumulates in the stomach and intestinal motility becomes abnormal, which directly leads to vomiting and abdominal pain in children. If the condition is serious, taking medicine at home usually cannot relieve the pain and the child needs to go to the hospital for examination, which is also a relatively serious consequence.

4. People with gastric cancer and indigestion are always unwilling to eat more and have poor sleep due to discomfort, which affects their physical health and normal daily life. The incidence of gastric cancer in my country is higher than in the West. Be careful of the serious consequences of gastric cancer caused by long-term indigestion.
