Early clinical manifestations of gastric cancer

The entrance of the stomach is called the cardia, the exit is called the pylorus, and the middle part is called the body. Therefore, gastric cancer can be divided into cardia cancer, body cancer, and pyloric cancer.

(1) There are two situations in which the early symptoms of cardia cancer appear: ① It occurs near the lower part of the esophagus, with progressive dysphagia symptoms; ② It occurs near the body of the stomach, with no subjective symptoms in the early stage or a strange feeling or severe pain or mild heart pain when food passes through. The above symptoms can be felt when swallowing, and when swallowing harder food, it feels as if it falls directly into the stomach. It is especially sensitive when drinking hot or cold liquids, and the feeling of the first mouthful is the most obvious. Once the above symptoms appear, they will always exist. Symptoms of worsening include difficulty in swallowing, a heavy feeling in the abdomen, stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, and gradual weight loss.

(2) In the early stages of gastric cancer, there are basically no subjective symptoms. In the advanced stage, there are symptoms such as stomach pain, stomach fullness, loss of appetite, burning sensation in the chest, burping, bad breath, a feeling of heaviness in the stomach, nausea and vomiting. In the advanced stage, there are symptoms such as gradual weight loss, poor complexion, loss of appetite, loss of appetite, discharge of black stools or vomiting of blood, and pain in the upper abdomen or back.

(3) The early symptoms of pyloric cancer are not obvious. During the worsening period, symptoms include stomach pain, burning sensation in the chest, hiccups, a feeling of heaviness in the stomach, loss of appetite, nausea, and vomiting.
