What are the manifestations of bladder cancer ultrasound examination

Urinary tract tumors often cause painless hematuria, and bladder cancer is the most common. Timely ultrasound examination is important for determining the cause of hematuria and diagnosing urinary tract tumors. Bladder cancer is mostly located in the bladder triangle, and its ultrasound manifestations are:

(1) An abnormal localized protrusion on the bladder wall that is attached to the bladder wall and does not move with body position;

(2) The surface is irregular and may have a pedicle or a wide base; the hierarchical structure of the bladder wall may be interrupted or disappear, and color Doppler shows irregularly distributed arterial blood flow signals inside the tumor;

(3) Bladder cancer also needs to be differentiated from foreign bodies in the bladder, blood clots, bladder stones, and a prostate that protrudes into the bladder. However, the abnormal echoes in the bladder of the first three can be differentiated by changes in body position, while the prostate can be scanned from multiple sections to show its anatomical relationship with the bladder.
