Qi stagnation type esophageal cancer

Symptoms of early esophageal cancer include no obvious dysphagia, foreign body sensation or burning pain when swallowing, chest tightness and discomfort, tightness in the back, and intermittent swallowing difficulty. X-ray examination mainly shows lesions of early esophageal cancer. The tongue is pale and dark, with a thin white coating and a stringy and thin pulse.

Obstructive esophageal cancer

Symptoms of this type of esophageal cancer are simple, with mild choking or difficulty swallowing. X-ray examinations often show early or middle-stage medullary or fungus-type esophageal cancer. The tongue is dark green, the coating is yellow-white, and the pulse is stringy and thin.

Yin-depleted Yang-deficient esophageal cancer

The disease is in the late stage, with difficulty swallowing, close to obstruction, vomiting, nausea, and flatulence. The patient is emaciated, short of breath and weak, has fever and dry lips, and dry stools like feces. The tongue is dark red and small, with little or no coating. Some patients have yellow, black, dry and cracked coating. The pulse is thready or deep, thin and weak.

Yin deficiency and internal heat type esophageal cancer

Symptoms of this type include choking when eating, dry and sore throat, hot flashes and night sweats, fever in the five parts of the body, accompanied by constipation, dry and red tongue with little or cracked coating, and a weak and rapid pulse.

Micro-esophageal cancer

Symptoms of this type include loss of appetite, vomiting of water or foam, weight loss, fatigue, shortness of breath, pale complexion, often accompanied by cold body and limbs, swelling of the face and feet, pale tongue, weak and thready pulse.
