Treatments for metastatic liver cancer include surgical resection, chemotherapy, hepatic artery embolization chemotherapy, and biological therapy. Commonly used chemotherapy drugs include fluorouracil (5Fu), mitomycin (MMC), doxorubicin (ADM), and cisplatin. Percutaneous femoral artery puncture hepatic artery catheterization chemotherapy drug infusion and (or) embolization is suitable for cases where the primary cancer cannot be cured or the primary lesion cannot be found, as well as those with extensive liver metastasis or multiple extrahepatic metastasis. Commonly used chemotherapy drugs include fluorouracil (5Fu), mitomycin (MMC), doxorubicin (ADM) and cisplatin. Hepatic artery embolization treatment often uses iodized oil, gelatin sponge, drug microspheres or microcapsules, which can significantly improve the efficacy. Contraindications are extensive liver tumor lesions, accompanied by jaundice, ascites or poor general condition. (III) Local treatment: Ultrasound-guided percutaneous intratumoral anhydrous ethanol injection is a local treatment method that has emerged in recent years. The treatment of liver metastatic cancer is suitable for isolated intrahepatic lesions, or no more than 3 lesions with a diameter of less than 3 cm. This method can cause tumor coagulation necrosis and fibrosis, prolong the patient's survival time, or create conditions for tumor surgical resection. A single lesion may completely disappear after multiple treatments.
