Traditional Chinese Medicine Treatment for Bladder Cancer

Bladder cancer patients often experience symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, abdominal distension, and hematuria during the course of the disease or after radiotherapy and chemotherapy. In addition to resting quietly, patients can also follow the doctor's advice to relieve symptoms through Chinese medicine and diet therapy.

Artemisia capillaris root tea

Ingredients: 30 grams of Artemisia capillaris and 60 grams of fresh Imperata root.

Preparation: Wash them separately with water, put the Artemisia capillaris and Imperata root into a casserole, add 500g of water, boil them, remove the residue, add a little rock sugar and it is ready. Drink it frequently instead of tea, 1 dose per day.

Efficacy: Clears away heat and dampness, cools blood and stops bleeding, suitable for patients with bladder cancer and hematuria.

Sugarcane and Imperata Soup with Crucian Carp

Ingredients: 250g sugarcane, 100g Imperata root (fresh), 6g tangerine peel, 1 crucian carp.

Preparation: Cut sugar cane into small pieces, cut Imperata root into small sections, wash tangerine peel and set aside. Remove the scales of crucian carp, kill it clean, put it into a pot with oil and four slices of ginger, fry it until golden brown, then add sugar cane, Imperata root, tangerine peel and appropriate amount of water, boil it over high heat, simmer it for 2 hours, and eat it with the meal, and drink the soup after eating the fish.

Efficacy: Clears heat and promotes diuresis, cools blood and detoxifies. It is suitable for bladder cancer patients with short and red urine, painful urination, and hematuria.

Rehmannia root and ophiopogon tea

Ingredients: 2 grams of American ginseng, 20 grams of Rehmannia root, and 15 grams of Ophiopogon japonicus.

Preparation: Wash and dry American ginseng, grind into very fine powder. Wash and dry Rehmannia root and Radix Ophiopogonis, grind into fine powder, mix with American ginseng powder, divide into two, put into cotton paper bag, and seal with string. When making tea, take one bag each time, 3 times a day, put into a cup, brew with boiling water, cover, simmer for 15 minutes, and it is ready. Drink frequently instead of tea.

Efficacy: Nourishes yin and produces body fluid, improves immune function, and is suitable for bladder cancer patients with symptoms such as bone marrow suppression, dry mouth, and leukopenia after chemotherapy.
