A proven lung cancer prescription with the effects of clearing away heat, detoxifying, resolving phlegm and removing dampness

There are also many proven prescriptions for the treatment of lung cancer in clinical practice. The so-called proven prescriptions are not those circulated in ancient medical books, but folk prescriptions that have not been proven but are clinically effective. Among them are prescriptions for resolving phlegm and dampness, invigorating qi and nourishing yin, clearing away heat and detoxifying. They are effective for patients with lung cancer who suffer from chest tightness, distension, cough, and spitting. Patients can take them after seeking advice according to their own conditions.

Ingredients: 10 grams each of reed root and almond, 30 grams of raw coix seed, 10 grams each of wax gourd seed, Fritillaria thunbergii, and Platycodon grandiflorum, 15 grams of Adenophora stellaria, 10 grams of Stemona japonica, 30 grams each of raw Astragalus membranaceus and Lycium barbarum, 15 grams of Prunella vulgaris, 30 grams each of Liuqu, charred hawthorn, Scutellaria barbata, and Hedyotis diffusa, 10 grams each of Curcuma aromatica, Corydalis yanhusuo, and Plantago.

Usage: Take 1 dose daily, decocted in water, 3 times a day.

Function: Promote lung function and regulate qi, resolve phlegm and eliminate dampness, invigorate qi and nourish yin, clear away heat and detoxify.

Indications: lung cancer. Symptoms include chest tightness, chest pain, stuffiness, cough, and difficulty spitting.

Add or subtract: In case of hemoptysis, add 30 grams each of Herba Agrimoniae, Cyperus chinensis, and Imperata cylindrica, and 10 grams of Schisandra chinensis; in case of obvious dry mouth, add 15 grams each of Ophiopogon japonicus, Radix Trichosanthis, and 10 grams of Polygonatum odoratum; in case of severe chest pain, add 15 grams of Trichosanthes kirilowii, 10 grams each of Zanthoxylum bungeanum and Solanum melongena, and 3 grams of Asarum; in case of severe cough, add 3 grams of Ephedra sinica, 7 grams of Perilla seed, and 10 grams of Radish seed.

Efficacy: It has been used repeatedly in clinical practice with good efficacy.
