Traditional Chinese medicine prescriptions available for lung cancer patients

Lung cancer is a highly prevalent malignant tumor of the respiratory tract, which is mainly related to the patient's bad lifestyle habits. Some patients cannot tolerate surgery due to their weak constitution. They can first take Chinese medicine treatment, which can, on the one hand, regulate the body and improve anti-cancer function; on the other hand, appropriate anti-cancer drugs that disperse nodules and reduce swelling can be taken as auxiliary treatment.

Prescription 1

Chinese medicine: 30 grams each of Adenophora Root, Dioscorea Opposita, Houttuynia Cordata, Scutellaria Barbata, Salvia Miltiorrhiza, and Curcuma Aromatica, 9 grams each of Asparagus Codonopsis, Ophiopogon japonicus, Morus Alpiniae, Anemarrhena Asphodeloides, Fritillaria cirrhosa, and donkey-hide gelatin (melted), 10 grams each of Imperata cylindrica and lotus root node, 12 grams of Poria, 15 grams of Rehmannia glutinosa, 3 grams each of Panax notoginseng and licorice.

Usage: Decoction in water, 1 dose per day.

Efficacy: Suitable for lung cancer with both Qi and Yin deficiency, it can relieve the patient's chest pain, fatigue, hemoptysis and other symptoms.

Prescription 2

Traditional Chinese medicine: 30 grams each of isatis root, honeysuckle, and physalis, 9 grams each of beehive and sophora flavescens, 15 grams each of Solanum nigrum and magnolia officinalis.

Usage: Decoction in water, 1 dose per day.

Efficacy: Detoxification and anti-cancer, can be used as an auxiliary treatment for patients with lung cancer.

Prescription 3

Chinese medicine: 12 grams each of Adenophora australis, Glehnia littoralis, Radix Pseudostellariae, and Scrophularia ningpoensis, 9 grams each of Ophiopogon japonicus, Trillium gracile, and Curcuma zedoaria, 15 grams each of Ligustrum lucidum and Fritillaria thunbergii, 20 grams each of raw Astragalus membranaceus and Sophora flavescens, and 3 centipedes.

Usage: Decoction in water, 1 dose per day.

Efficacy: Suitable for patients with mid-to-late stage bronchial lung cancer.
