What are the diagnostic methods for breast cancer

Breast cancer is a serious disease for women. The early symptoms are not obvious and it is usually discovered late, which brings serious harm to patients. The diagnosis methods mainly include the following aspects:

Check medical history

When beginning to diagnose a patient, it is necessary to examine the patient's case to see whether he or she has a medical history, such as family history, marital history, menstrual status, breastfeeding history, history of breast diseases, breast trauma, whether there is nipple discharge or erosion, and whether the pain is related to menstruation.

Observe for signs

First, we should observe whether the breasts on both sides of the patient are at the same level; secondly, observe the nipple skin, nipple retraction, inflammatory manifestations of the breast skin, and whether there is orange peel edema, satellite nodules, etc., and then understand the texture, activity and boundary conditions of the female tumor.

Ultrasound examination

B-ultrasound examination can display all the information about the patient's breasts and clearly diagnose whether the patient has breast hyperplasia or space-occupying changes, which is helpful for judging the nature of the lesion so as to better choose the treatment method.

X-ray examination

X-ray examinations can accurately determine whether there is inflammation, lumps, and space-occupying changes in the patient's breast, detect the cause of breast cancer in the patient, and then adopt the best treatment plan based on the cause to effectively control the development of the disease.

Combining multiple diagnoses

With the development of modern science and technology, combined diagnostic methods such as clinical physical examination + molybdenum target X-ray + needle aspiration can be used for suspicious cases to increase the early diagnosis rate of breast cancer and improve the cure rate of breast cancer.
