Symptoms of uterine cancer by stage

Symptoms of uterine cancer by stage

Uterine cancer is one of the most common malignant tumors in gynecology. It is a malignant tumor that often occurs in the vaginal part of the uterus and the cervical canal. It is characterized by increased vaginal discharge with color and foul odor, and bleeding after sexual intercourse.

Cervical cancer: The initial symptoms are increased and colored vaginal discharge and slight bleeding after sexual intercourse. The development stage is characterized by obvious bleeding after sexual intercourse and abnormal odor of vaginal discharge. The deterioration stage is severe enough to include daily bleeding, foul-smelling discharge, low back pain, and neuralgia-like pain in the lower limbs.

Uterine body cancer: Initially, it presents with uterine bleeding after menopause, and during the development period, the symptoms are the same as those of cervical cancer.

Villous tumors: divided into benign destructive teratomas and malignant choriocarcinomas, caused by pregnancy. In the early stages, choriocarcinomas are prone to spread to the lungs, brain and other parts. Early detection and early treatment are crucial. The initial symptoms include hydatidiform mole and continuous bleeding after miscarriage. The most common symptom is abnormal uterine bleeding, which manifests as bloody secretions or irregular vaginal bleeding. If the pelvic tumor is necrotic and accompanied by infection, it will be a foul-smelling discharge. If the cervical canal is blocked, it will manifest as pyometra. If the bleeding occurs before menopause, it may manifest as dysfunctional uterine bleeding. For patients with menopausal bleeding, it cannot be simply considered a benign disease caused by endocrine disorders, but endometrial specimens should be routinely scraped to rule out malignant lesions. Late-stage patients may experience lower abdominal pain, back pain, anemia and cachexia.
