Brief analysis of common symptoms of extranodal lesions of lymphoma

Extranodal lesions of lymphoma are a common phenomenon in the development of lymphoma, which seriously damages many organs of the human body. What are the common symptoms of extranodal lesions of lymphoma ? Here we will talk about the common symptoms of extranodal lesions of lymphoma.

In general, common symptoms of extranodal lesions of lymphoma include:

(1) Liver and spleen: Invasion of the liver parenchyma may cause enlargement. Biopsy shows that about 25% to 50% of non-Hodgkin's lymphomas have liver involvement. This symptom of extranodal lesions of lymphoma is particularly common in follicular or diffuse small cleaved cell non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. Splenic infiltration is mostly caused by the spread of abdominal lymph node lesions through lymphatic vessels.

(2) Skin specificity: It is also a common symptom of extranodal lesions of lymphoma, which is more common in T-cell adult leukemia, Fobama syndrome or mycosis fungoides. The manifestations are diverse, including lumps, subcutaneous nodules, infiltrative plaques, ulcers, papules, macules, etc., and are often seen first in the head and neck. Herpes zoster is also common in Hodgkin's disease, accounting for 5% to 16%.

(3) Tonsils and mouth, nose, and pharynx: 96% of lymphomas that invade the mouth, nose, and pharynx are diffuse pro-lymphocytic and histiocytic non-Hodgkin's lymphomas. The symptoms of extranodal lesions of this type of lymphoma are most common in the soft palate and tonsils, followed by the nasal cavity and paranasal sinuses, and less common in the nasopharynx and tongue root. Local tumors and submandibular lymph node enlargement can be seen clinically.

(4) Nervous system: Symptoms caused by central nervous system involvement are seen in about 10% of non-Hodgkin's lymphomas, especially diffuse prolymphocytic, small non-cleaved and large cell lymphomas. This is also a common symptom of extranodal lesions of lymphoma.

The above is an introduction to the common symptoms of extranodal lesions of lymphoma. I hope it will be helpful to everyone. Once the symptoms of extranodal lesions of lymphoma appear, you must go to the hospital for treatment in time to avoid delaying the disease.
