A brief discussion of the three most common early symptoms of skin cancer

Skin cancer is a tumor disease caused by daily exposure to the sun and ultraviolet rays. If not treated in time, it may cause the death of skin cancer patients. What are the common early symptoms of skin cancer ? Here are some common early symptoms of skin cancer.

Generally, common early symptoms of skin cancer include:

1. The early symptoms of skin cancer are mostly erythematous or papular lesions slightly above the skin surface, often accompanied by scaly desquamation or crust formation on the surface. The symptoms are similar to benign skin diseases such as psoriasis, eczema, and inflammation. The symptoms of basal cell carcinoma and squamous cell carcinoma are very similar as the lesions develop further, while malignant melanoma has special signs. The common symptom of all skin cancers is change, which everyone must pay attention to. There will be some characteristic signs, such as a shiny, translucent papular nodule with bleeding on the surface and telangiectasia or scar-like smooth fibrous plaques without obvious telangiectasia, ulcers, and bulges. Or there are black spots in the lesions that merge with each other.

2. Squamous cell carcinoma is often transformed from keratosis, leukoplakia and other precancerous diseases. It grows fast and forms ulcers in the early stage. Some early symptoms of skin cancer are nodular or cauliflower-like, with less invasion into the deep part and a movable base; some are butterfly-shaped, with more obvious infiltration into the deep part, great destructiveness, and often involving bones. Squamous cell carcinoma is often accompanied by purulent infection, accompanied by malodor and pain. Regional lymph node metastasis is common. The author encountered a huge squamous cell carcinoma in the head, which had an extremely bad odor, more purulent secretions, and was prone to bleeding; when cervical lymph node metastasis occurred, the site of the disease was the junction of the mucosa and skin. Squamous cell carcinoma developed fastest, and patients with mucosal disease were more likely to metastasize.

3. Basal cell carcinoma is often asymptomatic at the onset. In the early stage, it is mostly plaque-like papules with hard bases, and some are wart-like protrusions, which then break into ulcers. They are irregular, with raised edges, like craters, and uneven bottoms, and grow slowly. Metastasis is rare. First, a translucent nodule with a shallow ulcer appears, which then gradually expands and can erode surrounding tissues and organs, becoming an erosive ulcer. This is a common early symptom of skin cancer.

The above is an introduction to the common early symptoms of skin cancer. I believe everyone has some understanding of this. Once the early symptoms of skin cancer appear, you must go to the hospital for treatment in time to avoid missing the best time for treatment.
