Analysis of common treatment methods for cardiac cancer

With the continuous advancement of medical technology, there are still many treatments for cardiac cancer. So what are the common treatments for cardiac cancer ? The following is a brief introduction to the treatments for cardiac cancer.

In general, common treatments for gastric cardia cancer include:

(1) Total gastrectomy: It is suitable for the lower end of the esophagus, the entire stomach, the duodenal bulb, the spleen, the greater omentum and the lesser omentum, and uses the anastomosis of the jejunum and the proximal esophagus. It is currently a common treatment method for cardiac cancer.

(2) Extended total gastrectomy: The above scope of total gastrectomy is suitable for the distal pancreas (en bloc resection), and the lymph nodes around the celiac artery are cleared, and esophagogastric anastomosis is performed.

(3) Proximal subtotal gastrectomy is a relatively advanced treatment for cardiac cancer: it is mainly suitable for the proximal gastric tissue between the lower end of the esophagus, the spleen, and the midpoint of the lower 1/3 of the lesser curvature to the midpoint of the greater curvature of the stomach, and esophagogastric anastomosis is performed.

(4 Extended proximal subtotal gastrectomy: Suitable for the above scope of proximal subtotal gastrectomy plus the distal pancreas (en bloc resection), clearance of lymph nodes around the celiac artery, and esophagogastric anastomosis.

The above is an introduction to the treatment of cardia cancer. I believe everyone has some understanding of the treatment of cardia cancer. Cardia cancer patients must choose the treatment method suitable for them according to their actual condition.
