What are the symptoms of uterine tumors?

Spring is the beginning of all things, giving people new hope. But at the same time, diseases hidden in the cold winter will also break out at this time, bringing pain to people. Uterine tumor is a common disease among women, endangering their health. What are the symptoms of uterine tumor?

1. Patients with uterine tumors will have increased leucorrhea. About 82.3% of patients have increased leucorrhea in various conditions and degrees. It is white, light yellow, bloody or purulent, thin and watery or rice water-like, and smells fishy. Late-stage patients with concurrent infection will have a foul odor or purulent.

2. Vaginal bleeding is also a symptom of uterine tumors. About 81.4% of patients have vaginal bleeding symptoms. At the beginning, it is often bleeding after sexual intercourse, defecation, activity or gynecological examination. In the early stage, it is mostly a small amount and often stops on its own. In the late stage, if the lesion is larger, it will show heavy bleeding, and even the amount is so much that it is life-threatening. Young patients may show prolonged menstruation, shortened menstrual cycle, increased menstrual flow, etc., while elderly patients often show postmenopausal vaginal bleeding, which may be less or more.

3. Compression symptoms. In the late stage of uterine tumor, various compression symptoms may occur due to the enlargement of the tumor. Pain is one of the common compression symptoms, with an incidence of 41.1%, which is more common in patients in stage III and IV. In addition, a series of secondary symptoms may appear according to the organs invaded by the lesions. If the lesions invade the pelvic connective tissue and pelvic wall, and compress the ureter, rectum and sciatic nerve, the common compression symptoms are lower abdominal pain, back pain, frequent urination, urgency, anal distension, tenesmus, lower limb swelling and pain, sciatica, etc.; cancer lesions compress or invade the ureter, which may lead to ureteral obstruction, hydronephrosis, renal damage, etc. in severe cases, and finally lead to uremia and death. We should pay attention to the symptoms of uterine tumors.

4. Systemic symptoms: In the late stage, patients often have clinical manifestations such as weight loss, anemia, fever, systemic exhaustion, cachexia, etc. in addition to secondary systemic symptoms such as uremia.

The above is an introduction to the symptoms of uterine tumors. I hope it will help you detect uterine tumors in a timely manner.
