Blood in the stool is a very common health problem. After the problem of bloody stool occurs, in addition to going to the hospital for examination in time to determine the cause of the disease, the patient must also do relevant conditioning work in daily life, so as to better ensure the treatment effect of the disease, and at the same time prevent recurrence of the disease to a certain extent. Below, I will introduce to you in detail the treatment methods for bloody stools!

1. How to treat blood in stool

1. For hemorrhoids with blood in stool: Use the An's therapy recommended by the Ministry of Health. No surgery is required. Pure Chinese medicine preparations are directly injected into the hemorrhoids. After a few minutes, they will begin to shrink. It is painless and does not affect the patient's life and light work.

2. For anal fissure and bloody stool: use An's minimally invasive therapy, which is highly recommended by the Ministry of Health. With the help of minimally invasive small incisions, peel off the lesion from the base to completely eliminate the disease and the root cause of bloody stool.

3. For blood in stool caused by enteritis: We use the immune repair therapy originally developed by our hospital, combining the advantages of TCM in curing the root cause with the rapid effects of Western medicine. This can improve the body's immunity while treating enteritis and eliminate the root cause of the recurrence of enteritis.

4. For bloody stool caused by intestinal malignancy: Traditional surgical treatment of intestinal malignancy often involves cutting the anal canal and rectum, and the patient can only rely on an artificial anus to survive. Our hospital uses An's anal preservation technique, which is minimally invasive and painless. It can remove the lesions while preserving the anal function.

2. Clinical manifestations of blood in stool

Blood in the stool is mostly lower gastrointestinal bleeding, which can manifest as acute massive bleeding, chronic minor bleeding, and intermittent bleeding. The color of blood in the stool may vary depending on the site of bleeding, the amount of bleeding, and the length of time the blood stays in the intestinal cavity. If the amount of bleeding is large and the bleeding rate is fast, it will be bright red; if the amount of bleeding is small and the bleeding rate is slow, and the blood stays in the intestine for a long time, it may be dark red. The stool may be entirely blood or mixed with stool, or it may just be on the surface of the stool or drip from the anus after defecation. If gastrointestinal bleeding is within 5 to 10 ml per day, there is no visible change in stool color, which is called occult blood in stool. Occult blood in stool can only be confirmed by an occult blood test. Although general occult blood tests have high sensitivity, they have certain false positives. Immunological tests using anti-human hemoglobin monoclonal antibodies can avoid false positives.

3. Precautions for blood in stool

Rest the patient in bed and check vital signs for signs of shock, such as tachycardia, hypotension, weak pulses, and tachypnea. Record the patient's intake and output. Because people may feel frightened when they have blood in their stool, emotional support can be provided. Prepare for blood tests and gastrointestinal examinations such as endoscopy and X-rays. Pay attention to the patient's stool examination for occult blood. If necessary, stool can be sent for examination for parasites.
