5. Use a V-shaped knife to remove dead skin on the edge of the toenail.

6. Apply a thick layer of moisturizer on your feet (preferably one containing vaseline), wrap them with plastic wrap, and put on socks.

Note: The plastic wrap is a bit smooth, so you may not be used to it when you first use it, but the effect is really great.

4. How to take care of your feet

1. Soak your feet in hot water every night. If conditions permit, it is best to choose a wooden foot basin. The foot soaking time is about 20 minutes. You can add some vinegar to the water to soften the skin of the feet. Then apply foot bath salt on the heels and gently massage for 10 minutes.
