So what happens if a person has back pain at the age of 24?

Causes of low back pain in a 24-year-old woman

1. Low back pain due to kidney deficiency

Low back pain due to kidney deficiency is the most common low back pain in women. The pain is a constant, dull ache in the entire waist, with soreness, weakness and powerlessness. Worse after fatigue or sexual intercourse. In traditional Chinese medicine theory, the waist is the internal organ of the kidneys, which is responsible for reproduction and female menstruation. The most common type of low back pain is caused by kidney yang deficiency, which manifests as cold pain in the waist, soreness and weakness in the waist and knees. This type of low back pain is also relatively common, and the pain manifests as local tingling and needle-like pain. In this case, we must first rule out organic diseases, such as lumbar disc herniation, kidney stones, nephritis, etc. Low back pain caused by organic diseases will last for a longer time and is difficult to distinguish from low back pain caused by blood stasis in the early stages, so examination is necessary.

4. Pelvic inflammatory disease

The low back pain caused by inflammation such as pelvic inflammatory disease is completely different from the low back pain in men and is a more common low back pain in women of childbearing age. Low back pain caused by pelvic inflammatory disease and cervicitis is relatively common in clinical practice. The pain is a sore and tired pain in the lumbar region, accompanied by a heavy pain in the lower abdomen and increased leucorrhea.

Ways to relieve low back pain in women

1. Waist beating

Same position as above. Make hollow fists with both hands and use the knuckles to gently hit the waist on both sides, from top to bottom, and then from bottom to top, for a total of 20 to 30 times.

2. Press the Mingmen acupoint

Stand or sit. Press the Mingmen acupoint with the thumbs of one or both hands. This point is located in the depression below the spinous process of the second lumbar vertebra. Press the point firmly until you feel a little soreness and swelling, then rub it dozens of times.

3. Buttocks massage

Same position as above. Place the thenar eminence of one hand on the buttock on the same side, and rub it clockwise or counterclockwise for dozens of times, then use the other hand to rub the other buttock. Rub the painful side of the buttocks more.

4. Bend over and pinch your legs

You can stand or sit on the bed. Straighten your legs and slowly bend forward. Use both hands to pinch the muscles in front of your thighs and calves, as low as possible, preferably to the instep of the foot. Repeat 5 to 10 times. Keep your head up as you bend forward.

5. Push the waist

Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart. Put your hands on your hips, thumbs forward. First, use your right palm to push from the right waist, forward and to the left; then use your left palm to push from the left waist, backward and to the right. Push dozens of times, or push in the opposite direction.

6. Rub your waist

Stand with feet shoulder-width apart. Make fists with both hands, and rub the eye of the fist, which is the thumb and index finger side of the fist, up and down vigorously against the waist. Start rubbing from the sacrum, from bottom to top, as high as possible, and the rubbing speed should be relatively fast. Rub dozens of times until you feel your skin warm.

7. Push the waist, hips and legs

Start by standing in a left lunge. Use your right palm, with the base of the thumb separated and the thumb in front, to push the waist on the same side, then push down hard, through the buttocks to the thigh and calf, and bend the body to the right. Then stand in a right lunge. Use your left hand to push your left waist, hip and leg. Alternate push 4 to 10 times.

8. Rub the Shenshu point

Same position as above. Press the Shenshu point with the thumb of one hand. This point is located below the spinous process of the second lumbar vertebra, about two finger widths outside the Mingmen point. When you press the point hard, you will feel a sore and swollen sensation. After you feel enough soreness and swelling, rub it dozens of times. Then use your other hand to press and rub the kidney point on the other side.

Ways to prevent low back pain

1. Choose suitable shoes.

Choosing a pair of comfortable and high-performance shoes can help female friends resist the impact of the ground on the human body, thereby protecting parts of the body such as the legs, waist and back from damage.

2. Stretching early in the morning can help relieve back pain.

Every morning, after getting up, you can take some deep breaths and stretch your body appropriately, which can effectively relieve physical fatigue, relieve lower back pain and other symptoms. For morning exercise, you can also choose to take a walk, ride a bicycle and other appropriate exercises to make your waist muscles stronger.
