An early pregnancy test strip is a product that can be used to detect whether a woman is pregnant. Generally speaking, when using early pregnancy test strips, you should usually use morning urine, because the effect of testing with morning urine will be better. Of course, you don’t have to use morning urine when using an early pregnancy test. In addition, the test results of an early pregnancy test are not 100% accurate, so you still have to go to the hospital for corresponding examinations. 1. Do I need to use morning urine for the pregnancy test? Morning urine is not necessary for testing early pregnancy, but relatively speaking, morning urine is more accurate. Early pregnancy test strips detect the concentration of HCG in urine. Generally speaking, the most accurate result will be obtained by using the first urine excreted in the morning, especially in the early stages. The accuracy of normal urine tests is relatively low. Morning urine is concentrated and has high hormone levels, so the positive test rate is higher. Of course, urine from other times of the day can also be tested. No matter how many times you test your urine, you must remember to follow standard operating procedures to reduce errors caused by manual operation. In addition, before testing, check whether the test paper is within the shelf life. 2. Urine Sample 1 This reagent uses human urine as the test sample. 2 Collect urine in a clean container. Urine within a day can be tested. It is recommended to use urine after waking up in the morning. 3 After collecting urine, if it cannot be used immediately, it should be refrigerated. The shelf life is 6-8 hours. 3. Usage 1. Use a disposable urine cup or clean container to collect urine. 2. Tear open the aluminum foil bag along the cut and take out the test paper for testing. 3. Strip type: Dip the end of the test paper with the arrow mark into the container containing the urine sample to be tested (The urine sample is not allowed to exceed the MAX line), take it out and lay it flat after about 3 seconds. (As shown in the picture) Card type: Use a pipette to draw 0.2mL (3-4 drops) of the urine sample to be tested into the sample addition area. Pen type: Remove the cap and let the urine pour directly onto the sample area while urinating, and maintain the urine collection time for 3 seconds (Please note: Do not let the urine exceed the arrow to prevent the urine from wetting the test area and affecting the test results). 4. Observe the test results in the test area: observe the test results within 5-10 minutes. Color development within 40 seconds is strongly positive. Positive: Color bands appear on both the upper and lower ends of the test strip, indicating pregnancy. Negative: Only a purple-red band appears on the upper end of the test strip and no band appears on the lower end, indicating that you are not pregnant. Invalid: No ribbon appears. This indicates that the test strip has expired. |
