Toenails fall off naturally but it doesn't hurt

The spontaneous shedding of toenails may be due to fungal infection, trauma or local infection.

1. Fungal infection: If you do not pay attention to the hygiene of your feet or often wear non-breathable shoes or use slippers in public places, you will have obvious fungal infection, which will lead to unstable growth and development of the nails and invade the nail deck. The nail deck will have lesions and may become turbid, thickened or discolored. In severe cases, the nails may fall off.

2. Trauma: If you do some strenuous activities in your life and accidentally injure your feet, the local toenails may fall off, but no special treatment is required. The toenails may gradually grow out over time.

3. Local infection: If the feet are in a humid or polluted environment for a long time, a large number of bacteria may breed, which may easily lead to symptoms of foot ulcers, and may also cause damage to the nail area, easily causing the toenails to fall off naturally. It may also cause slight swelling and pain, and some anti-inflammatory drugs need to be taken orally for treatment, such as amoxicillin or cephalosporins.

Pay attention to the hygiene of your feet. You can soak your feet in hot water every night to speed up local metabolism or blood circulation and relax your muscles.
